We close on our new house on November 2nd (in only 3 days!!!!!) and will be moved in by the 6th. What does one do while one is waiting after one has already packed? Take advantage of the empty kitchen cabinets, of course!!

MoViNG!!
AAAAA!!! I can't believe we're moving!! In our almost 21 years of marriage, my husband and I have lived in the house we live in now the longest.....6 years! So, I am not a stranger to looking at houses, showing houses, packing, pitching, sorting, cleaning, closing, unpacking, remodeling, settling in....and the many more wonderful things that go along with moving. Many moves have been hard moves, sad moves. This move is super exciting for me. We are not leaving our town, our church, or the friends we cherish. We are just leaving a home that has been a good home for us but has somehow shrunk over the years. It's been, um, fun(?) going through closets and boxes that haven't been opened in 6 years. We've taken bags and bags and boxes and boxes of miscellaneous items to our church to donate for their annual youth garage sale. HOW did we collect SO MUCH STUFF?!

We've been married 23 years and have lived in five states, five houses and several different apartments. We lived in our last house for 9 years, which was tripled the previous record... We've been in this house almost two years and are already adding on! My point is, I feel your pain! The new house will be worth it, but moving stinks!
Oh, my girls would love to make a house in the cupboards...i better not show them this or it will be a big mess at my house! Good luck with the move!
